IS M4X GOING TO HAVE A SEQUEL?
Unfortunately not. It seems that MOTORM4X is not going to have its seqel any time soon. Financial situation around MOTORM4X is still not very ecouraging, therefore we still have no funds to start working on a second part.
ANY PATCH OR ADDON FOR M4X?
No. Sorry but we can't currently afford to spend any time and funds on any additional stuff for MOTORM4X.
WILL YOU SELL M4X ON-LINE?
Most probably not. We were in negotiation with Steam, and they expressed their interest, but the process got stucked half way between them and City Interactive. We are very sorry, but we have no news about the subject anymore.
WILL M4X BE AVAILABLE IN MORE COUNTRIES?
Unclear. Our publisher City Interactive holds rights for world wide distribution (except Russia). We think that they are no longer interested in selling our game in any other region. Therefore we will try to get those unused rights back and release our game some other way.
WHY DON'T WE HEAR ABOUT M4X?
Our publisher did not officialy annouce our game since 2008. Therefore there is no official review (except Czech Rep. and that is very small market). Game has also zero advertisement. We are doing our best, but we can't substitute for things that should be done by publisher. In some cases it's even impossible.
DOES M4X HAVE A DOWNLOADABLE EDITOR?
Game has its own editor called VAMPIRE. But there's lot more to it than meets the eye. To create and complete levels and cars - 3D Studio MAX with oFusion exporter and other software, such as SPEEDTREE is needed. Car settings are done via large number of different tables without any kind of ingame editor. Work on downloadable official editor for this game would take too much time and funds, which we can't afford. Therefore MOTORM4X is not moddable or editable in any simple way and no part of our development tools will be released to that cause.
IS YOUR EDITOR OR PHYSICS FOR SALE?
No. They are not programmed as a software for outside development. More over, they contain parts of the law-protected code, such as SPEEDTREE. We are not allowed to release that code to public.

OFF-ROAD RACER MOTORM4X ANNOUNCED

A number of Czech-based game development veterans today announced the existence of The Easy Company s.r.o., a Prague-based studio committed to creating ground-breaking technology and games for PC and consoles. The core development team at The Easy Company previously held lead-positions at Illusion Softworks where they made significant contributions to a number of record-breaking hit titles including Hidden & Dangerous 1 and 2 and MAFIA.
The Easy Company have been working behind closed doors on its debut title for the past 14 months, an all-terrain off-road racer entitled MOTORM4X for the PC. MOTORM4X is a non-formulaic racing-title that lets players drive and explore large outdoor terrains in a variety of SUV and off-road vehicles featuring simulated GPS and 4WD functions including player-controlled axle-locking, 4 wheel drive and GPS pathfinding.
